IPhone, Wii game builder gets investment from VMware co-founder

In 1998 Greene and her husband, Mendel Rosenblum, founded VMware, which launched the x86 server virtualization market and became one of the most influential companies in IT. Greene was fired in July 2008 and replaced with former Microsoft executive Paul Maritz. Rosenblum, VMware's chief scientist, left the company shortly after Greene.

Greene also serves on the board of directors for the Intuit, a maker of business and financial management products, and is a member of the MIT Corporation, the college's governing body.
