Wii Sports Resort sells over 350k copies in Japan in 4 days

is a month away from release in the states, but it's already selling like hot cakes in Japan, selling an impressive 353,827 in Japan within four days. With that amount, Wii Sports Resort becomes the third-fasting selling Wii title ever, beaten only by (608,000) and (816,000).

It's not much of a surprise as Wii Sports still holds the title as the best selling video game of all time with over 40 million copies sold (though some would argue by default due to its bundling with the Wii). Looks like Nintendo has another hit on their hands that could appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Wii Sports Resort makes its way to the U.S. on July 26. 2009
